SZA Announces Break from Live Performances for Mental Health

"Finally Bout to Get My Life Together"

Grammy Award-winning singer SZA has announced that she will be taking a break from performing live in order to prioritize her mental health. The singer made the announcement on social media following her performance at the Osheaga Festival in Montreal, Canada on Sunday, August 5, 2024.

"Yesterday Was My Last Show for a While"

In a post on Instagram, SZA wrote, "Finally bout to get my life together thank u God." She also shared a photo of herself with her grandmother and her caption continued, "Yesterday was my last show for a while."

The announcement comes after SZA has been touring extensively in support of her critically acclaimed album, "SOS." She recently wrapped up a string of dates in the United States and had been scheduled to perform at Glastonbury Festival in England on June 30, 2024.

SZA has not yet announced when she plans to resume performing or if she has any new music in the works. However, her fans are sending her messages of support and well wishes, and are looking forward to her return to the stage.
